Loved the peaceful

Really enjoyed our stay here with my husband. The resort feels very authentic and peaceful, not too crowded like other places. We loved the view from our room. Also, the bed was surprisingly comfy; we actually had a hard time waking up! It was a great quiet getaway for us. Big thanks to the staff for being so helpful.

Nice rooms and very peaceful

The rooms are surprisingly spacious and kept very clean. I loved the atmosphere around the lake; it’s so quiet compared to the beach side. A really relaxing place to stay.

Hidden Gem

There’s something special about waking up here. I spent my mornings just sitting on the balcony watching the mist over the lake before heading to the beach. It’s the kind of quiet you rarely find in Thailand anymore.

Ideal place to relax, although a bit far from the beaches

The staff is very attentive, the breakfast is basic but sufficient. The location is ideal for peace and quiet; you will need transportation to enjoy the island, as the beach area is on the other side of the island.

Peaceful Stay

I enjoyed this place a lot. It’s like a good-sized bungalow with a private terrace, great for enjoying the sunset over a glass of wine. We did a few excursions during our stay; just check with the front desk, they will help with that. Beyond that everything was well kept and tidy. And thumbs-up for the breakfast.

Amantra Lake View Resort is a peaceful and beautiful hotel with lovely, kind people. Our villa was set in the middle of the lake, offering stunning views and complete tranquility. The spacious balcony was perfect for morning yoga, and we even brought a hammock to relax in the breeze. Despite the peaceful setting, it’s conveniently close to a hospital, police station, local restaurants, and the charming Old Town. Every morning, birdsong greeted us, and during high tide, the scenery around our villa was magical. We rented a motorbike from the hotel and explored the forest and local fishing villages. Everyone was warm and friendly—we’ll definitely return and recommend this place to everyone!

This hotel is beautiful, clean, and feels safe. It’s incredibly private, with spacious balconies perfect for morning yoga, coffee, and other activities. It was a wonderful time for us, and we would definitely return. If you’re visiting Koh Lanta and looking for a peaceful, quiet place away from the crowds and noise, we highly recommend this hotel/villa – it’s the best we’ve ever stayed at.
